Our take on Dimensionals
The store copy foregrounds a large hero roster, hundreds of skills, and “endless” replay value. The concrete structure is narrower: each party contains three heroes, runs use procedural encounters, and additional heroes are described as planned during Early Access.
What is Dimensionals?
Dimensionals is a turn-based roguelike RPG about collecting heroes from different dimensions and assembling a party of three.
Heroes gain experience, receive skill points, and unlock abilities through individual level trees. Skills can be moved between heroes to create different party builds. The campaign follows a story about defending the multiverse, presented through voice-acted, animated comic-book cutscenes. Chapters contain encounters and recruitable characters, while procedurally generated battles support repeated runs. The Master Raid adds bosses, Rogue Rifters, blessings, and curses to the roguelike structure. Artifacts provide additional blessings or curses, and bosses use hand-animated cartoon attacks. The game also includes a cartoon soundtrack by Brad Breek.
