Saves you a refund- Players seeking direct, moment-to-moment combat rather than an auto-battler driven by city planning
- Players who prefer a short, fixed campaign instead of repeated 16-round battles, solo challenges, and leaderboard pursuits
- Players looking for a non-fantasy setting rather than wizards, magical buildings, and enchanted weapons
Our take on SkyShard: City Battler
Rather than centering combat on direct unit control, the game makes city layout and building combinations the main strategic decisions. Its asynchronous battles also replace the usual simultaneous-match pressure with time to arrange each skyshard.
What is SkyShard: City Battler?
SkyShard: City Battler combines fantasy city building with auto-battles.
Players manage resources, choose buildings and weapons, and position structures to trigger effects across a growing skyshard city. Towns face attacks from other players in asynchronous multiplayer, with each battle lasting 16 rounds and no time limit for arranging the city. Solo challenges provide another play mode. Buildings come from multiple factions, including Tinker, Magic, and Nature, with different abilities affecting efficiency, area damage, health, and survival. The game includes more than 170 unique buildings, and players can pursue a perfect victory or climb the leaderboard toward the Archmage rank.
