Our take on 3 Minute Heroes
Players may bounce when the run demands simultaneous placement, card use, hero selection, loot activation, and wave management inside each 3-minute round. The later extreme stages add randomly stacked altar effects, creating another wall for anyone who prefers stable battle conditions.
What is 3 Minute Heroes?
3 Minute Heroes blends tower defense, card-based deck building, and roguelike runs.
Select three heroes from a roster of 20, deploy units, and play cards to defend a home base through 12 rounds of 3 minutes each. Heroes have individual skills and cards, and different lineups affect play styles. After every round, choose one of three rewards to change the deck.
The enemy roster spans six factions, with bosses that use varied patterns. Other systems include card keyword modifications, loot tied to selected heroes, quests that track conditions and offer 60 rewards, and an asynchronous arena where players face one another. The game also has 10 extreme stages featuring five randomly appearing altars per stage, hero upgrades, and character stories that unlock when conditions are met.
