Our take on Konfronto
The presentation centers on head-to-head space battles, but the encounters are asynchronous: opposing players do not need to be online. The competitive framing therefore describes battles against stored creations rather than live multiplayer matches.
What is Konfronto?
Konfronto is a sci-fi roguelike auto-battler about constructing an intergalactic starship.
Players buy cargo from a space trader and place different technologies inside the ship’s hold, where their positions affect the build. Pilots can be sent to clear additional room or assigned to spaceships to raise power, but each Pilot can perform only one of these roles at a time. The completed vessel enters head-to-head encounters against ships made by other players. Battles are asynchronous, so opponents do not need to be online during the match. The game combines ship layout decisions, resource purchases, crew assignment, and repeated roguelike battles within a space-themed setting.
