Our take on Airmen
Its defining structure is the combination of first-person ship construction and component-level destruction: vessels are assembled piece by piece, then can lose specific systems during combat.
What is Airmen?
Airmen combines first-person ship construction with combat across airships, landships, and watercraft.
Players begin with an empty hangar and assemble vessels from more than 300 parts, choosing propulsion, weapons, and ship size from 3k to 30k mass. Expeditions across the Archipelago include deliveries, resource harvesting, mining, raids, contracts, and attacks on AI installations. Ships can be crewed alone or with friends. Combat includes aiming cannons, operating turrets, boarding enemy vessels, and damaging individual components such as engines and guns. Resources upgrade ships, while faction reputation and challenges provide additional progression. Fleets can also confront world bosses, and ships can be shared through the Steam Workshop.
