Lead a party of broken heroes across Idra, Freymark, and the Outer Isles in a grim fantasy RPG shaped by Lovecraftian horror.
Combat is turn-based and tactical, with options to fight, use stealth, or bypass encounters through automatic resolution. Create a character, select from a dozen classes and varied backgrounds, recruit allies with distinct skills and personalities, and develop characters up to level 20. Equip the party, cook and craft from different recipes, and use quest logs and journals to pursue objectives and uncover secrets.
Choice-based dialogue creates unexpected turns, while dice rolls determine whether characters escape danger or suffer its consequences. The game uses an 8-bit-inspired pixel-art presentation, includes an optional CRT filter, and provides the SKaLD Data Editing Tool for creating and playing additional adventures.
