Our take on Fuzz Force: Spook Squad
Dice determine both combat outcomes and some journey choices, so the flexible build system comes with less control than a fully predetermined strategy game. Optional risk-taking before battles and shops adds potential rewards while making preparation less predictable.
What is Fuzz Force: Spook Squad?
Fuzz Force: Spook Squad is a dice-driven deckbuilding roguelite about capturing the Polter Prince and a ghostly horde.
Battles use dice rather than cards, with five agents offering different combat roles. Weapons can be adjusted with dice and passive modules, while status effects and agent abilities create different combinations. Journeys through the Forest, Halls and Attic include combat, treasure, random events and shops. Players can explore carefully to improve equipment or move directly toward an exit while risking defeat. Story events offer choices involving dice, payment or combat. Bonus Rolls before battles and shops can grant boons but may also create disadvantages. Special Missions reveal agent stories, while the Boo~stiary records information about captured ghosts.
