Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want direct, manual control over every attack may hit a wall with the auto-attacking combat.

- Players seeking online multiplayer beyond local co-op may find the available play modes limiting.
Our take on Shadowkin
Players who want to aim and trigger every attack themselves may bounce off as soon as combat begins: abilities attack automatically. Solo players also need to adapt to an AI-controlled partner, since the game is built around two characters whose skills can interact.
What is Shadowkin?
Shadowkin is an auto-attacking horde survival game built around runs through rooms, zones, and worlds.
Players control two minions, each with a build of abilities that can interact with the other character’s skills. Play solo with an AI ally or in two-player local co-op through Steam Remote Play. Abilities include attacks such as fireballs, boomerangs, and boulders, while relics can change how abilities behave. Rooms present different risks and rewards, and branching paths shape each run. Elemental skills can combine, such as Storm abilities electrifying puddles created by Water skills. Each zone ends with a boss that has its own attacks and abilities. A skill tree provides upgrades between runs.
