The game uses HD graphics and 3D models, and supports controllers, Oculus Rift, and Vive. Endless Mode adds a separate way to play, while bundled DLC and additional specimens expand the mansion’s contents. Players can switch between older and newer specimen visuals. A Build Your Own Mansion feature provides room-editing tools and a development SDK for creating specimens and mechanics, with Steam Workshop used to share creations.
