// OVERDRIVE is an arcade shooter roguelite built around runs through 11 procedurally generated rooms.
Players select room types and a strategy, defeat more than 10 enemy types, collect loot after clearing rooms, and face bosses, including a final boss. Firing raises the OVERDRIVE gauge, granting bonuses while active but causing damage if the gauge reaches its maximum. Three game modes and four modifiers vary the runs. Upgrades have several rarity levels, from common to legendary, and some remain after death. Non-permanent upgrades are lost on death. Completing a run raises prestige, which grants permanent upgrades while increasing difficulty. Six room types and online leaderboards add structural variety and score competition.
