Play it if you…
Good fit- Incremental-game players who want mining and upgrades to form the main progression loop
- Players who enjoy recruiting a growing group of workers rather than digging alone

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a varied mission structure may find the repeated digging-and-upgrading loop narrow in scope.
- Players who prefer uninterrupted exploration may not enjoy the threat of the mine being sealed at night.
- Players looking for a shooter or rhythm-game format will find neither described as the central activity.
Our take on Kin and Quarry
Rather than focusing on direct combat or platforming, this incremental adventure centers on delegating excavation to a growing group of kin. Cursor actions and upgrades support a repeated mining loop, while the approaching night adds a threat to that routine.
What is Kin and Quarry?
An evil Geomancer has hidden the magic essence of the sacred Evertree underground.
Players guide small groups of kin as they dig, mine, and excavate to recover it, while the Geomancer can seal the mine when night arrives. Clicking, swiping, and hovering the cursor speeds up the kin’s work. Players can recruit different workers, including miners, diggers, and exploders, and launch a drill to reach deeper underground. Mining more than 20 types of ore makes the effort more effective, while finding more than 150 rare artifacts attracts additional kin. The cycle centers on digging, upgrading, and repeating the effort to reach the deepest depths and restore the Evertree.
