- Players who like watching damage and progress numbers grow during repetitive combat
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a long campaign may reach the ending of either mode within a day of active play

- Players looking for multiplayer or competitive features may not find a suitable format here
Our take on Astrodle
Players who need a substantial campaign may bounce off when they discover that both modes can end within a day of active play. Those expecting layered combat systems may hit the wall sooner, at the repeating shoot-collect-upgrade cycle that forms the main structure.
What is Astrodle?
Astrodle is an incremental shooter set in space, with a loop centered on destroying enemies and improving the player’s vessel.
Laser fire eliminates Blobs, producing Essences that fund upgrades to the ship’s attack strength. The growing destruction totals provide a prominent numerical progression. A story features Sagittarius, Aquarius, and Taurus as guides for the human protagonist’s transformation into a divine, immortal being. Astrodle offers two modes, and each has a definite endpoint that active play can reach within one day. Its format is presented for brief, laid-back sessions, including relaxed play across a weekend.
How Astrodle plays
- 01Laser Combat
- The spaceship attacks Blobs with mounted lasers, turning their destruction into progress.
- 02Essence Upgrades
- Collected Essences are used to raise the ship’s firepower.
- 03Guided Story
- Sagittarius, Aquarius, and Taurus accompany the player during the quest for godhood.
- 04Finite Game Modes
- Both modes have an ending that can be reached in a day through active play.
