Play it if you…
Good fit- Action-adventure players drawn to survival under time pressure

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking leisurely exploration may find the need to leave infected sectors quickly limits time to explore

- Players who want a game focused on social interaction may find that stories, advice, and sector message terminals are secondary to survival
Our take on Samosbor
The pressure to leave infected sectors quickly gives the survival play a strong time constraint, at the cost of lingering in those areas. Recovery and conversations take place in habitable sectors, separating those pauses from the dangerous excursions.
What is Samosbor?
Take the role of a liquidator sent into Gigakhrushchevka, an apparently endless high-rise, to clear areas affected by Samosbor.
Survival depends on rapid movement, composure, monitoring time in contaminated zones, and escaping before the event begins. Settled sectors provide places to recover, restore health, reload ammunition, and exchange stories or guidance with fellow liquidators. Certain areas contain terminals that present randomly selected messages left by people there. Abandoned technical rooms in industrial zones can conceal unusually huge creatures. The building’s scale raises questions about whether anything exists beyond it, while the liquidators’ organization continues sending workers into assignments with an exceptionally high death rate.
How Samosbor plays
- 01Infected Sector Escapes
- Survival depends on leaving an affected area before Samosbor begins and keeping track of time spent there.
- 02Habitable Sector Stops

- 03Sector Message Terminals
- Some terminals present randomly generated text drawn from messages left in that sector.
- 04Industrial Creatures
- Abandoned technical rooms in industrial sectors are home to especially large creatures.
