Our take on Twin Sector
The ten-hour emergency deadline gives the adventure urgency, but it also limits the room for slow, unhurried examination of the bunker. Its focus on physics puzzles and mission objectives leaves less emphasis on open-ended exploration.
What is Twin Sector?
Twin Sector is a physics-based action-adventure set beneath a contaminated Earth, where humanity remains asleep in cryogenic chambers.
Playing as Ashley Simms, the only person awakened by the station’s security AI, the goal is to restore a damaged main generator before the life-support failure kills the remaining survivors. The game combines environmental interaction with puzzles, challenges, and enemies in a hostile futuristic bunker. Puzzles can be approached in different ways, using physics-based gameplay powered by the HAVOK Engine. The story unfolds across more than 15 missions, with a ten-hour deadline established for repairing the generator and restoring the station’s functionality. Unknown forces attempt to stop Ashley during the mission.
