Our take on Visual Out
The defining detail is the setting: the entire platforming adventure takes place inside a dying computer, with power control and data-based abilities shaping exploration.
What is Visual Out?
Visual Out is an exploratory platformer set inside a dying computer.
As a program resisting its operating system, the player explores a vast environment of mechanical and digital areas. Six abilities, including the Jammer, Current, and Turret, can be gained and upgraded. Power flow can be controlled to affect the environment. The game combines minimalist pixel art with distinctive visual effects and an ambient-glitch soundtrack by Abstraction Music. Exploration reveals secrets about the computer and its creator, while progress leads to bosses in each of the four sectors.
