Our take on RIPOUT
The page emphasizes endless replayability, but the core structure is a series of short 10–20-minute missions through generated ship layouts. That frames the experience as repeated expeditions rather than one continuous horror campaign.
What is RIPOUT?
RIPOUT is an online co-op horror FPS set aboard abandoned spaceships occupied by mutants that can alter their bodies by attaching smaller creatures.
Players complete missions alone or in small teams, search ships for loot, and pursue the last human survivors. A living Pet Gun acts as a companion and weapon, while weapon modifications and character specializations support different playstyles. Missions are short 10–20-minute expeditions through procedurally generated environments. The game features enemies with changing configurations and difficulty that scales for teams of different sizes. Its story centers on finding Sanctuary and uncovering what happened to humanity.
