Our take on GRAVEN
Players who prefer straightforward routes may bounce off when new abilities turn earlier areas into revisitation targets. The environmental systems can also become a stopping point for anyone unwilling to experiment with fire, machinery, hidden paths, or frozen rivers.
What is GRAVEN?
GRAVEN is a first-person action-adventure set in a dark medieval fantasy world.
Players take the role of an exiled priest investigating plagues, disrupted seasons, and heretical sects. Exploration combines combat with environmental problem-solving: fires can be spread, machinery charged, hidden routes revealed, and rivers frozen for passage. Weapons can be upgraded through blacksmiths and alchemists, while new abilities open routes through earlier areas and into deeper chasms. The game includes lore and puzzles, more than twenty enemy types, three bosses, and multiple biomes. Cooperative play supports groups of up to 7 friends. Its visual style combines modern development methods with a stark late-90s aesthetic.
