Our take on Bombshell
Rather than following a straightforward shooter structure, Bombshell combines isometric combat with experience points, upgrades, side quests, non-linear levels, and elements of first-person shooter mechanics.
What is Bombshell?
Shelly Harrison, once trained to dispose of bombs, now works as a hired fighter in this isometric action shooter.
Her mission sends her through four worlds to retrieve the president after an extraterrestrial catastrophe. Among these locations are Kyrron, a planet being consumed by its nearby star, and Zeroth, a realm holding the remains of a civilization suspended in time. Combat pits Shelly against hunting beasts, enhanced extraterrestrials, and revived members of a long-lost species.
She can deploy over 10 modified weapons built into her mechanical arms. Battles include environmental interactions and brutal execution attacks, while the campaign adds progression through earned experience, character improvements, optional missions, and branching stage layouts. Shooter elements viewed from a first-person perspective are also incorporated.
