RPGIs Re:Legend worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who enjoy farming and crafting but do not want a combat-only game.
- Players who want village relationships and daily tasks instead of exploration without social activities.
- Friends seeking cooperative activities and group combat rather than a strictly solo experience.
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking near-constant combat may lose momentum during farming, fishing, crafting, and village tasks.
- Players who prefer direct, fixed progression may dislike skills that develop through repeated daily activities.
- Players wanting a strictly solo experience may not value the cooperative activities and shared combat.
Our take on Re:Legend
Players expecting combat to dominate every session may hit a wall when progress also involves farming, fishing, crafting, or helping villagers. Those seeking a separate, direct progression track may also resist skills that grow through repeated everyday activities.
What is Re:Legend?
After washing ashore on Vokka Island with no memories, players build a new life while trying to recover their past.
They can grow crops, fish above and below water, craft, mine, and log. Villagers can be befriended by helping with their daily needs, while repeated activities develop living skills such as farming, fishing, and weaponry. Magical creatures called Magnus can be tamed and raised. They assist with combat, travel, farming, fishing, and other activities, with growth shaped by care and decisions.
Exploration across Ethia brings dangerous wildlife, fought with different weapon classes or while riding a Magnus. Multiplayer lets friends share activities and fight together. The vendor notes that multiplayer quality may decline when the connection has a ping rate above 180.
