Our take on Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition
Rather than separating puzzle play from combat, the game makes gem matching the battle system: matches generate mana, and that resource drives spellcasting. It also replaces a single campaign structure with three assembled releases plus citadel building, creature training, and monster research.
What is Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition?
Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition combines match-3 puzzles with role-playing across Challenge of Warlords, Revenge of the Plague Lord, and The Legend Returns.
Match three or more same-colored gems to gain mana, then use it to cast spells during battles against varied opponents. Create a hero, gain skills, complete quests and side quests, collect items, and meet companions. The game includes a citadel where buildings grant special powers. Creatures can be captured, trained, and used as mounts, while captured monsters support a research mini-game for learning their spells. Hidden runes can be used to create magical items in the Citadel Forge, and cities around Etheria can be besieged to expand dominion.
