Our take on Quasimorph
The clone system makes repeated attempts possible, but it puts carried equipment at risk on every contract. That trade-off favors careful preparation and makes a failed mission costly rather than a simple reset.
What is Quasimorph?
Quasimorph is a turn-based cyberpunk RPG about running a private military company in a future where space has been privatized.
Take corporate contracts, send mercenaries to explore planetary bases, laboratories, and wrecked starships, and recover resources and technology to improve a flagship. Successful missions let the company keep what it extracts; if a mercenary dies, the gear brought on the mission is lost. A new clone can be printed for another attempt.
Mercenaries can be outfitted with cybernetic implants and body modifications, while weapons, armor, gadgets, classes, and individual mercenaries offer ways to vary preparations. Missions involve managing ammunition and maintaining equipment while facing hostile forces and supernatural corruption. The story concerns a threat to life and the disturbing actions of humanity in space.
