Its defining structure is the race between two gem piles: each turn adds pressure while players reshape their chip decks, so deckbuilding choices directly affect the puzzle board and the opponent’s threat.
What is Puzzle Strike?
Puzzle Strike combines falling-gem puzzles with deckbuilding matches between Fantasy Strike characters.
Gems enter each player’s pile every turn, and a full pile causes defeat. During play, players purchase chips to develop an economy-focused, offensive, or engine-based deck while adapting to interactive opponents. The Steam version includes all 48 chips from Puzzle Strike Third Edition and Puzzle Strike: Shadows, along with the promotional chips Combinatorics, Dashing Strike, and Custom Combo. It includes ten base-game characters, while ten Shadows characters are available as an expansion. Modes include cross-platform play with iOS, Quick Match leaderboards, replays, Puzzle Challenges, Daily Quests, Puzzle Smash, and offline practice against AI Puzzlebots. It runs on Mac, PC, and Linux.
