Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a fixed board and stable conditions may find the changing arena unsuitable

- Players seeking a solo experience may not fit a game centered on competition with other players
Our take on Battle Squares
The defining mechanic is controlled dice movement: practice lets players influence where they travel, while opponents can anticipate those choices and receive rewards.
What is Battle Squares?
Compete with as many as three opponents across a board generated anew for each match and altered as play continues.
Complete quests, gather treasures, evade hazards, and anticipate rival decisions to gain Atlas Points. Spend those points on equipment that shapes a character build, whether focused on fighting or on abilities usable between rounds. Movement uses dice, and practice allows players to influence their results, though rivals can read those choices and gain rewards. Choose from characters with individual powers, then encounter ten kinds of spaces featuring activities such as auctions, spell casting, point theft, and dueling. A collection exceeding 80 items supports varied approaches to each match.
