Our take on ICBM
Rather than centering on frontline unit control, this strategy game makes nuclear escalation, diplomacy, retaliation, and population protection the main structure. Adjustable game speed and coordinated strike planning replace the fixed tempo of many real-time military scenarios.
What is ICBM?
ICBM is a real-time strategy game about global nuclear conflict.
Players command one of the world’s continents, research 44 technologies, develop a nuclear arsenal, and choose from 20 unit types and 12 nuclear weapon types. Ships, planes, missiles, bombers, and submarines can deliver attacks against enemy cities while defenses protect the population. Diplomacy supports sharing information, technologies, or nuclear locations with allies, though alliances can later break down. A strike planner organizes attacks against structures, units, and cities. Matches support up to seven other players in free-for-all, fixed-team, and cooperative formats, with ELO and a leaderboard. The game also includes modding support for maps, units, technologies, rules, graphics, and other content.
