Our take on Penny Blood: Hellbound
Death returns the player to a prison-cell hub, where malice gathered during the run can become permanent character upgrades.
What is Penny Blood: Hellbound?
Penny Blood: Hellbound is a roguelike action game set in an interdimensional prison.
Play as one of six anarchists, each with distinct weapons and skills, and pair characters as the group explores the dungeon. After each death, return to a prison-cell hub with malice collected during the run; spend it to permanently expand and vary abilities. Bloodsurf across gore to evade enemies and attack groups of foes. The game also supports online multiplayer, where players can coordinate attacks against enemy waves and larger threats. Its story visits the Roaring 1920s, drawing on the period after World War I and featuring non-player characters and bosses linked to real crime and historical events. It is a prequel to Penny Blood.
