Our take on COLLAPSED
Persistent loot and skill progression reduce the loss associated with death, but each attempt still returns to the beginning. The design trades a continuous campaign route for repeated runs centered on gradual character development.
What is COLLAPSED?
Collapsed is a post-apocalyptic roguelike action-platformer based on repeated attempts through procedurally generated stages.
Players choose one of four Hunters, each with distinct abilities, skills, and combat styles, then move through nine locations containing more than 60 enemy types, 15 bosses, and deadly traps. Items can be combined or crafted to gain new traits, while experience points support progression through a branching skill tree. Death sends the Hunter back to the beginning, but collected loot and developed skills continue into the next run. The game supports solo play and cooperative play with one friend. Ten difficulty modifiers add further challenge to its timing-based combat.
