What is Cave Digger 2?
Cave Digger 2 is an action-adventure for one to four players, set across wilderness valleys, abandoned workings, submerged grottoes, and remnants of long-lost cultures.
Starting with a pickaxe, players extract resources and return their finds to a camp above ground to receive payment. That income buys improved tools, explosives, excavation gear, weapons, outfits, headwear, and facial options. Its cave and mine layouts are generated anew and can be damaged in part, while equipment can be enhanced.
A revolver, digging chain, shield made from a gold pan, and explosives offer ways to face hazards. The narrative tracks evidence left by a renowned explorer, includes collectible comic pages, and branches into several conclusions. Cross-platform play accommodates private parties and public matchmaking for up to four people, including combinations of VR and non-VR players.
