Our take on Necronator: Dead Wrong
Instead of keeping deck-building within a turn-based card game, Necronator: Dead Wrong pairs card choices with real-time lane battles. Unit deployment and spells happen as enemies approach, making the deck part of an active tactical fight rather than the whole battle structure.
What is Necronator: Dead Wrong?
Necronator: Dead Wrong pairs deck construction with small-scale real-time strategy.
Select a commander, each of whom begins with a different deck and set of units. During the single-player campaign, add or remove unit and spell cards to shape the deck and build combinations. Send units into lanes to confront the living and assault their castles; spells can harm enemies or boost friendly troops. Foes receive reinforcements during battles, putting time pressure on each encounter. Relics alter the rules, and campaign events mix comedy with stories about the commanders. The game offers a card pool of over 200, along with upgrades, plus more than 20 distinct relics. Different decks, cards, and relics give each run a different combination to explore.
