Our take on Rogue State Revolution
The presidency is shaped by minister popularity: appointing officials to govern the country can create political rivals who threaten the incumbent in the next election.
What is Rogue State Revolution?
Take the presidency of Basenji and manage the country’s political, economic, and cultural development.
Appoint ministers to oversee parts of government, consult advisors, and balance the support of ministers, voters, and international allies. The country is divided into 5 provinces, each with distinct cultural backgrounds, voter groups, and expectations. Build roads, expand infrastructure, and develop industries, or use diplomacy to form alliances with neighboring countries and engage with powers such as the US, China, and Russia. Procedural map generation changes each run. Ministers can become popular enough to threaten the president’s position in the next election, while unexpected events, including loose bipedal mechs, add further complications. The game also uses FMV cutscenes.
