Our take on Mars Horizon
The bounce point arrives at mission control: players expecting direct flight or astronaut control instead manage resources, malfunctions, research, vehicles, crews, and agency relationships through strategic decisions.
What is Mars Horizon?
Direct a space agency from the beginning of the space age through a possible crewed landing on Mars.
Build a base with launch pads, research laboratories, and astronaut training facilities. Assemble custom vehicles from many component combinations, hire and train crews, and send satellites and crewed spacecraft throughout the Solar System. Turn-based missions require mission-control decisions about spacecraft resources and unexpected problems. Advance through a technology tree while competing or cooperating with other agencies. Five agencies offer different traits, bases, vehicles, and spacecraft. The game includes recreations of missions such as Perseverance, Ingenuity, Zhurong, and Rosetta. Sandbox Mode allows unrestricted customization of the base.
