Our take on Majogami
Rather than presenting a conventional platforming hero, Majogami makes instant slicing both an attack and a movement tool. Its paper-craft setting also links combat progression to a family mystery, with changing forms and memory cards shaping the journey.
What is Majogami?
Majogami follows Shiroha, a young woman with lost memories, as she travels with Shiori, her father transformed into paper.
Using the katana Kamikiri and the Setsuna ability, she attacks enemies, dodges strikes, and reaches areas that ordinary movement cannot. The story spans more than 35 action stages, 13 boss encounters, and over 8 hours of Japanese-voiced dialogue. Shiroha can adopt 7 fighting forms, equip 20 magical charms, and gain abilities through special scrolls. She also collects memory cards called Recarte while confronting the Majogami, divine Craft Witches who control the strange paper-craft world. Online leaderboards cover more than 30 challenge missions.
