This collection brings together Azure Striker Gunvolt, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, and Azure Striker Gunvolt 3, along with all DLC.
The trilogy uses 2D action-platforming stages built around fast movement, enemy attacks, and distinct playable abilities. Gunvolt uses lightning and a Flashfield, while Gunvolt 2 adds Copen, whose dash, lock-on attacks, Bullit Dash, and boss-derived weapons shape his play style. Gunvolt 3 lets players switch between Kirin and Gunvolt, using teleportation, melee attacks, dashes, and Voltaic Arts.
Its Image Pulse system includes more than 150 collectible buffs and attacks. The games also include real-time mission dialogue and more than 37 songs performed by characters. The Enhanced edition adds new Gunvolt skills, revised voices and songs, action changes, and in-game CD dramas.
