Gal Guardians: Demon Purge is a 2D action adventure about two sisters trying to save their school after it becomes a demonic castle.
Shinobu attacks from a distance, while Maya fights at close range, and control can switch between them during exploration and combat. Boss victories grant sub-weapons that provide new abilities and access to additional routes. If one sister falls, Sister Rescue allows her revival by returning to her location. The game offers three selectable styles—Casual, Veteran, and Legend—that can be changed during play. Story voice options include original Japanese performances in Pure mode and English performances in Refined mode. Two-controller co-op supports drop-in play as both sisters.
