Our take on Magna Graecia
Random tile selections create uncertainty in exchange for a focused placement puzzle. The design sacrifices complete control over each turn, requiring plans to adapt around the building or resource that becomes available.
What is Magna Graecia?
Magna Graecia is a relaxing city-building puzzle game set in an Ancient Greek village.
Each turn supplies a random building or resource for placement. Houses expand the village by adding neighboring tiles, while adjacent buildings of the same type create bonuses. Three matching objects arranged with each beside the other two can be formed into a triangle, upgrading them and increasing their yields. Olive and grape fields generate resources when placed beside farms, with each adjacency producing one olive or grape. These resources can be exchanged for additional houses, allowing the village to grow further. The game centers on tile placement, adjacency planning, upgrades, resource collection, and high-score building.
