Our take on Sky's The Limit MAH-JONG
The deck-building layer expands Mahjong’s possible hands, but it also moves the game away from standard tile limits and conventional play. Its endless structure favors sustained score chasing over a compact, self-contained session with a fixed endpoint.
What is Sky's The Limit MAH-JONG?
Sky's The Limit MAH-JONG combines Riichi Mahjong with roguelike deck-building.
Players collect tiles through a trading shop, assemble a custom deck, and alter draws and discards during play. Special Dora and bonus tiles add further options, while status adjustments can change draw counts, discard counts, and Dora availability. The deck system permits tile combinations beyond the usual four-copy limit. Scoring uses the Ao-Tenjo rule, so points have no upper cap and all Fu and Han contribute to the result. Players choose rounds based on risk and reward, aiming for eight consecutive wins known as Pa-Ren-Chan. Endless Mode continues with further challenges while the target score is surpassed.
