What is Hextones?
Hextones is a sci-fi puzzle game about matching tiles on a grid.
It contains 25 distinct tile types, made from five colors and five symbols, with 100 tiles to place. Each turn, add a tile beside one or more already on the board so that its edges meet theirs. A turn can form as many as six links. More links in one move add fuel to the quantum engine, and finishing the active tier raises the bonus for making links. The game draws on puzzle styles associated with Domino, Ishido, Mahjong, and match-three games. Its colors are red, green, blue, yellow, and purple; its symbols stand for Time, Space, Distance, Eternity, and Thought.
