Our take on Hextones: Spacetime
The defining constraint is a set of 100 tiles, with only three upcoming tiles visible and swappable before placement.
What is Hextones: Spacetime?
Hextones: Spacetime is a tile-placement puzzle where players connect hexagonal tiles by matching their colors and symbols.
Place a tile by joining one or more of its edges to tiles already on the grid; moves with more connections score more points, and completing a tier increases the connection bonus. The game includes three hexgrids and three modes: Spacetime adds a countdown as the current tile moves through a queue, Hardcore permanently destroys a tile when its placement time expires, and Relax removes time pressure. There are 25 tile types and 100 tiles to place.
Players can preview the next three tiles and swap between them before placing. Completing a tier or making a six-edge connection earns a Time Freeze use that slows the countdown.
