Our take on Let Them Trade
The autonomous city economies reduce the need to manage every citizen and transaction directly. That keeps attention on building, trade, and broad decisions, but leaves less room for hands-on control of each city's daily activity.
What is Let Them Trade?
Build a network of cities that gather resources and trade goods independently.
Choose building placements while each city manages its citizens, budget, and resources; city wealth and citizen happiness affect trade taxes. Use the castle to buy goods for needs and improvements, and decide whether to trade for profit or save supplies. Research production buildings and send knights to scout new lands or guard cities against bandits. Play a campaign of scenarios with different goals, use sandbox mode, or create and share scenarios through the built-in editor and Steam Workshop. Combat is lightweight, and the game focuses on relaxed city building and an economy that runs largely on its own.
