Our take on Type Defense
Instead of using typing as a standalone exercise, the game turns each correctly entered word into a ballista attack. Its castle-defense structure adds waves, repairs, upgrades, powers, and combo scoring to a format usually centered on word entry alone.
What is Type Defense?
Type Defense combines word entry with castle defense.
Each displayed word must be typed correctly for the ballista to fire at an approaching desert bandit. Enemies arrive in waves, requiring faster typing as the attack continues. Damage to the castle can be repaired, while castle upgrades add another defensive choice. Two special powers can be used when the situation becomes difficult. The game includes different bandit types, a combo system that rewards faster typing with higher scores, and support for multiple languages. It can be played as a game or as a typing practice activity, with survival and high-score play built around speed and correct spelling.
