Our take on King's Table - The Legend of Ragnarok
Rather than using equal armies or an empire-building structure, the game centers on an uneven escape scenario. Odin's twelve soldiers must protect his route to a corner while twenty-four attackers close in, making survival and positioning the main objectives.
What is King's Table - The Legend of Ragnarok?
King's Table - The Legend of Ragnarok brings the Norse board game Hnefatafl into a chess-like strategy setting.
Odin commands twelve defenders against twenty-four foes advancing from multiple sides. To win, the defending player must guide Odin to a corner of the board without letting the attackers surround and capture him. The Ragnarok Tournament pits players against figures such as Vidar, Tyr, Heimdall, Thor, and Frey. Odin can be controlled against these legendary opponents, while another person can join a nearby head-to-head match. Animated game pieces represent the clashes as players plan moves, balance the uneven armies, and protect Odin's path to safety.
