Our take on Terminal Velocity™: Boosted Edition
The experience centers on 360-degree combat flight: pilots bank, roll, loop and thrust through battles across nine planets.
What is Terminal Velocity™: Boosted Edition?
Terminal Velocity: Boosted Edition is a 360-degree combat flight simulator in which a pilot from Ares Squadron battles invading armadas.
The game spans nine planets, with three levels on each, dozens of tunnels and more than 400,000 square miles of terrain to fly over. Pilots can bank, roll, loop and thrust into battles, using seven weapons and multiple power-ups in air-to-air and air-to-ground combat. The edition runs the original game on modern systems with the Infernal Engine and adds a widescreen HUD, extended draw distance, revised sky rendering and re-engineered sound channels. Achievements and trophies are described as being implemented for the first time.
