StrategyIs Topple Tactics worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who want asymmetric multiplayer matches with one defensive player facing several advancing players
- Tower defense fans who want to build defenses while directly controlling abilities
- Players who enjoy character upgrades and customization within physics-based PvP
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want evenly matched teams rather than a single giant defender versus smaller advancing characters
- Players seeking a broad campaign or many environments may reach the limit at the seven-map structure
- Players who prefer strategy games without physics-based character movement may bounce off the movement and combat model
Our take on Topple Tactics
The main bounce point is the split between roles: players assigned to the huge side must manage towers and abilities, while little players must upgrade and push along the track. Anyone expecting a conventional team-based tower defense setup may hit that structural divide immediately.
What is Topple Tactics?
In this multiplayer game, one player takes the role of a giant defender, placing and improving towers and triggering abilities to obstruct opponents.
The other players advance along a defense route, enhancing their stats and gear as they try to reach the map’s end and defeat the giant. Seven maps call for different approaches from both roles. The defender can choose from many towers and abilities, while minions can develop through an extensive upgrade tree and customize their characters. Physics-driven characters and player-versus-player matches are central to the game.
How Topple Tactics plays
