Our take on BeachHead Rogue
BeachHead Rogue departs from a conventional FPS structure by pairing its shooting with roguelite progression and card-based ability builds. Instead of relying only on weapon choice, its described approach also asks players to shape and upgrade a defense setup as they advance.
What is BeachHead Rogue?
BeachHead Rogue combines first-person shooter combat with roguelite progression.
Players defend BeachHead against Musso Khan’s forces, choosing weapons for close or long-range combat and building a set of ability cards to shape their approach. Experience points and resources gained during progress can be used to improve abilities and gear. Players can focus upgrades on a smaller number of cards or spread them across different abilities, then try combinations that emphasize speed, power, or a balance of both. An in-game marketplace provides assets for character and equipment upgrades as players advance through challenging stages. The game is a standalone addition to the BeachHead series.
