Our take on Viking Saga: The Cursed Ring
Players who are not interested in following a fixed mission will likely bounce when Ingolf’s journey narrows to finding Loki and returning the ring. Those expecting a tavern, settlement, or resource-management system may also hit a wall once the game centers on travel, local requests, and the curse narrative.
What is Viking Saga: The Cursed Ring?
Young Viking Ingolf receives a mission from his father, King Arnar: locate the dwarf responsible for a curse and recover a precious ring.
The story begins after a storm scatters the Vikings’ ship across the shores of the island they sought. Ingolf then travels through its lands, assists local inhabitants with their problems, forms a friendship with a druid, and continues the search for Loki, identified as the source of the curse.
