What is Hyper Light Breaker?
Hyper Light Breaker is an open-world roguelike set in the Overgrowth, playable alone or in online co-op.
Choose a Breaker and SyCom loadout, then fight groups of enemies and bosses in third-person combat. Each run takes place in a changing world of open biomes and labyrinths, with wall-dashing, a hoverboard, and a glider for traversal. Death resets the Overgrowth and its worlds, while resources brought back to the Settlement unlock permanent upgrades that carry across runs.
Players can find weapons, items, and upgrades, and take quests for more rewards. Raising the Overgrowth's difficulty increases the challenge and rewards. The game also includes a tutorial covering basic mechanics and advanced combat techniques, and fragmented memories from the Crowns reveal more about the world.
