ActionIs Horror Legends worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Horror game players who want asymmetric matches with one hunter facing a group of survivors
- Groups of 2–6 players who enjoy alternating between pursuit and escape roles
- Solo players who want bot-supported matches rather than online opponents
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a single-player story campaign may find the match-based survival setup too limited
- Players who prefer slow, low-pressure play may find the pursuit and combat focus too frantic
- Players looking for a cooperative game without a player-controlled opposing role may not want its asymmetric setup
Our take on Horror Legends
The store page highlights changing locations and varied character abilities, but the core structure remains a repeated hunt-and-survive match: one Legend pursues cast members who scavenge, complete objectives, or fight back.
What is Horror Legends?
Horror Legends is an asymmetric player-versus-player horror game for 2–6 players, with one player taking the role of a supernatural Legend and others playing as cast members trying to survive.
Cast members can gather supplies, look for weapons, complete objectives, or seek an escape, while Legends hunt them using distinct abilities and arsenals. Matches combine stealth, scavenging, and close combat across handcrafted locations, whose properties can vary between rounds. Cast members have different attributes and loadout options, and each Legend changes the challenges the other players face. Bot support is available in solo and multiplayer modes. Players earn Fate points during play and can spend them on cast loadouts, skins, extras, and a 16-page comic book.
