ActionIs Property worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Horror-game players who want asymmetric matches with one hunter and a group of escapees
- Groups of up to 10 players who want to host online matches on a chosen map
- Players who prefer unpredictable map layouts over learning a fixed environment
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a solo campaign with a fixed narrative, since the described play centers on online matches
- Players who prefer consistent, learnable environments, because maps are regenerated for each match
- Players seeking a game focused on climbing, exploration, or puzzle-solving rather than pursuit and escape
Our take on Property
Randomly regenerated maps trade learnable layouts for uncertainty: players cannot rely on memorized routes, but also cannot practice a fixed map layout across matches.
What is Property?
Property is an online first-person horror game in which one player is selected as the killer and the others play as survivors.
Survivors must escape the restricted area before the killer finds them. Matches use maps that are generated anew each time, and players can choose which map to host. Hosts can set a password and play against an AI killer while waiting for other online players. A server list lets players search for matches. The game supports keyboard and mouse controls, including an invert setting. Matches support up to 10 players.
How Property plays
- 01Randomly generated maps
- Each match gets a new layout, so players cannot learn the map in advance.
- 02AI killer while waiting
- A host can begin with a computer-controlled killer before other online players join.
- 03Passworded matches
- Hosts can restrict access to an online match with a password.
- 04Server browser
- A server list provides a way to find existing games.
