Death's Playground is a multiplayer psychological horror game built around a 4v1 match structure.
Four survivors explore a cursed mansion, search for objectives, and retrieve a tape documenting paranormal activity before escaping. The opposing player controls a shadow spirit that hunts, surprises, and frightens them. Survivors can cooperate or act independently, while the killer can manipulate the mansion's lighting and listen for nearby voice chat. Movement options include running, jumping, sliding, locking doors, blocking routes, peeking around corners, and hiding under beds or in closets. Players can find flashlights, lanterns, a baseball bat, a double-barrel shotgun, and a pistol. Characters have different strengths and weaknesses, with skill points used to unlock upgrades and vary perk combinations.
