Is Enlysia worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who want a dark facility mystery with a single-player story
- Small groups seeking cooperative survival against traps and a monster
- Asymmetric multiplayer fans who want to hunt or evade other players
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a calm or low-threat experience, since the setting centers on traps, danger, and survival
- Those wanting a fixed, fully linear environment, since multiplayer room layouts are partly randomized
- Players looking for a purely solo game, since the multiplayer mode includes cooperation and a player-controlled monster
Our take on Enlysia
The premise emphasizes uncovering a facility mystery, but the multiplayer mode shifts toward room-based survival, item searching, and an asymmetric monster role. The store text gives less space to how the single-player investigation and multiplayer experiment relate to each other.
What is Enlysia?
Enlysia is an action game set in a research facility hidden in the mountains.
In the single-player story, freelancer John Davis investigates disappearances connected to Sector 6 and explores the facility to uncover its secrets. Multiplayer places players inside a lethal experiment made up of interconnected rooms containing traps and other threats. Participants search for weapons and keys while trying to escape, either cooperatively or alone. One player can instead take the role of the experiment's monster and hunt the others. Room layouts are partly randomized, with different environmental settings intended to vary repeated attempts.
