Our take on Holy Purge : Exorcist
The defining structure is cooperative exorcism for up to four priests, with each scenario combining investigation, ritual tasks, item collection, and defense against supernatural enemies.
What is Holy Purge : Exorcist?
Holy Purge: Exorcist is a cooperative horror-survival game for one to four priests, with a solo mode.
Investigations span three settings: a children’s camp overrun by possessed youngsters, a plague-stricken medieval settlement, and a home containing malevolent spirits. Players carry out rites, gather required items, purify locations, confront werewolves and demons, and attempt to free a woman under possession. Doorways, ritual equipment, and collectible placements change from one session to the next. Written notes and recorded cassette messages reveal story details throughout the environments. Each map can be attempted again at a tougher difficulty. Playing alone leaves the entire exorcism task to one priest. Flashing visual effects may be unsuitable for players affected by light-triggered seizure disorders or related sensitivities.
